Paul M. Jinneman plays a personal role in all of GHG’s consulting services.  Clients have the advantage of years of practical experience combined with the knowledge gained from serving thousands of clients in the hotel industry over the last 30 years.  We approach every assignment with the same degree of care and service we would want if we were the client.  We listen carefully to each client’s needs and develop a plan to fulfill those needs.  Time commitments are kept, and the finest quality service is delivered to the client. 

 

Strategic Planning

 

We provide assistance in developing concise strategic plans for improving your hotel operation. We are familiar with a wide variety of management practices and market conditions, enabling us to provide invaluable input to management. Our services include assistance in estimating market demand and identifying competitive market conditions; assessing internal strengths and weaknesses in marketing, human resources, financial controls and systems, physical plant, and operations; and formulating goals and strategies to enhance performance.

Paul M. Jinneman has assisted the Campbell family since the mid-1980s in planning for the successful re-development of their resort and conference center on Lake Chelan.

 

Acquisitions Due Diligence

 

Due diligence service for acquisition typically involves evaluating the operating performance and potential of an existing hotel with the goal of identifying upside potential and downside risks.  This evaluation may include review of operating methods and expenses, revenue enhancement and marketing strategies, facility renovation requirements, location issues, competitive market conditions, re-positioning or re-branding opportunities, and exit strategy.

General Consulting Services

 

Clients often call upon us for specialized services requiring an independent analysis and specific knowledge of the hospitality industry. Services such as assistance in negotiation of management contracts, market positioning studies, review of annual budgets, and preparation and review of marketing plans have been provided to various hospitality clients.

Paul M. Jinneman assisted the previous owners of the Gallatin Gateway Inn in Bozeman, Montana for many years in improving the operation of their hotel.

 

Paul M. Jinneman has consulted with the owners of The Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on initial development planning, financing, operational issues, and property tax appeals.
